YouGot Messaging & Notification Terms

Program Overview

YouGot is an AI-powered reminder service operated by Foresight AI Partners LLC. When you create reminders through the YouGot platform, notifications can be delivered across multiple channels depending on your account settings and plan tier:

• SMS — Two-way text messaging via Twilio. Create, manage, and respond to reminders by texting our service number. SMS replies are processed by AI (large language models) to understand your intent.
• WhatsApp — Messaging via the Meta WhatsApp Business Platform through Twilio. Supports the same commands as SMS with rich formatting.
• Email — Transactional reminder emails delivered via Resend. Includes action links for snoozing and acknowledging reminders.
• Push Notifications — Browser-based push notifications delivered to subscribed devices.
• Webhooks — HTTPS webhook delivery for Business tier users, enabling integration with external systems and automation workflows.

How You Opt In (SMS)

1. Create a YouGot account at yougot.ai
2. Navigate to your dashboard and add a phone number
3. Check the SMS consent checkbox (shown below) agreeing to receive automated SMS reminders
4. Click "Send Code" to receive a 6-digit verification code via SMS
5. Enter the code to verify your phone number

Only after completing all steps above will you receive SMS reminder messages.

Two-Way SMS & WhatsApp Commands

YouGot supports two-way messaging via SMS and WhatsApp. You can send the following commands by texting our service number or messaging our WhatsApp Business number:

Create a new reminder by typing a natural language message (e.g., "Pick up groceries tomorrow at 5pm")

STATUS

List your upcoming reminders

LIST

Show all of your reminders

DONE #

Mark a specific reminder as complete (e.g., "DONE 3")

SNOOZE <duration>

Snooze a reminder for a specified duration using natural language (e.g., "SNOOZE 30 minutes" or "SNOOZE until tomorrow")

HELP

Receive a help message with available commands

STOP

Unsubscribe from all SMS messages

START

Resubscribe to SMS messages after opting out

Commands are parsed by AI and may occasionally be misinterpreted. Always verify your reminder details via the web dashboard at yougot.ai. The STOP and START commands are always processed regardless of AI parsing.

AI-Powered Processing Disclaimer

Messages and replies sent to YouGot across all channels (SMS, WhatsApp, email, and webhook payloads) may be processed by artificial intelligence (large language models) to understand your intent and execute commands. AI parsing may produce errors in interpreting commands, dates, times, or durations. You should always verify reminder details via the web dashboard at yougot.ai.

Neither YouGot nor Foresight AI Partners LLC is liable for errors in AI interpretation of messages on any channel, including but not limited to incorrect reminder times, dates, or content resulting from AI parsing.

Nag Mode Notifications

When nag mode is enabled for a reminder, you will receive repeated notifications at set intervals until you acknowledge the reminder. Nag notifications may be delivered via SMS, WhatsApp, email, or push notification depending on your channel settings. You can acknowledge a nag notification via SMS reply, WhatsApp reply, email action link, or the web dashboard.

• Standard message and data rates apply to each SMS or WhatsApp nag notification
• You can disable nag mode at any time via the web dashboard at yougot.ai
• SMS and WhatsApp nag notifications count toward your monthly message limits

Monthly Message Limits & Free Tier

• Each plan tier has monthly SMS and WhatsApp message limits
• Free tier users have limited SMS trials per month
• When SMS or WhatsApp limits are reached, delivery on those channels stops; email fallback is attempted but not guaranteed
• Limits reset on the 1st of each calendar month
• Upgrading your plan increases your monthly message limits
• Email and push notification delivery are not subject to the same per-message limits but may be rate-limited to prevent abuse

Email-Specific Terms

YouGot delivers transactional reminder emails via Resend. Email notifications include action links that allow you to snooze or acknowledge reminders directly from the email without visiting the web dashboard.

• Reminder emails are transactional in nature and tied to reminders you create
• Email may be used as a fallback channel when your SMS or WhatsApp monthly limits are reached; however, email fallback delivery is not guaranteed
• Each reminder email contains an unsubscribe link to opt out of email notifications
• You can manage your email notification preferences at any time via the web dashboard at yougot.ai
• Email delivery depends on your email provider and may be affected by spam filters, inbox rules, or provider outages

Push Notification Terms

YouGot can deliver reminder notifications via browser push notifications on supported devices and browsers.

• Browser push notifications require you to grant notification permission when prompted
• You can revoke push notification permission at any time through your browser settings
• Push notification subscription data is stored securely and used solely for delivering your reminders
• Delivery depends on your device being powered on, connected to the internet, and running a supported browser
• Push notifications may be delayed or not delivered due to device sleep modes, battery optimization settings, browser restrictions, or connectivity issues
• YouGot and Foresight AI Partners LLC are not responsible for push notifications that fail to deliver due to device, browser, or network conditions

Webhook Terms (Business Tier)

Business tier users can configure HTTPS webhook endpoints to receive reminder notifications programmatically, enabling integration with external systems and automation workflows.

• Webhook endpoints must use HTTPS; plaintext HTTP endpoints are not supported
• You are solely responsible for the security, availability, and proper configuration of your webhook endpoint
• Webhook delivery is not guaranteed — endpoints that return non-2xx responses or time out will trigger retries with exponential backoff
• After repeated delivery failures, webhook notifications may be suspended for the affected endpoint
• Webhook delivery logs are retained for 90 days and are accessible via the web dashboard
• YouGot and Foresight AI Partners LLC are not liable for data loss, security breaches, or other issues arising from your webhook endpoint configuration

International SMS

YouGot currently supports SMS delivery to US phone numbers. International SMS may be supported in the future. International message rates may apply based on your carrier. Delivery to international numbers is not guaranteed.

WhatsApp-Specific Terms

WhatsApp delivery is provided through Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform via Twilio and is subject to Meta's WhatsApp Business Policy. WhatsApp commands work the same as SMS commands listed above. WhatsApp messages may include rich formatting (such as bold text and links) not available via standard SMS.

Carrier Liability & Service Disclaimer

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers include major US carriers (T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon, and others); however, carrier compatibility is not guaranteed for all providers. YouGot and Foresight AI Partners LLC are not responsible for carrier-imposed blocks, filters, or delays.

Delivery Disclaimer (All Channels)

All YouGot reminder delivery — including SMS, WhatsApp, email, push notifications, and webhooks — is provided on a best-effort basis. Delivery may fail or be delayed due to carrier network issues, email provider filtering, device connectivity, browser restrictions, webhook endpoint failures, service outages, software errors, or your plan's monthly message limits being reached.

Foresight AI Partners LLC and YouGot are not liable for any reminder that is not delivered, is delivered late, or is delivered inaccurately, regardless of the delivery channel or the nature of the reminder. This disclaimer applies equally to SMS, WhatsApp, email, push notifications, and webhook delivery.

Do not rely solely on YouGot for health-critical, safety-critical, or other time-sensitive tasks.
